Randy Fairbanks has more than 30 years of experience in the practice of law with both large and small law firms. He started his own firm in 2009 to focus his legal practice on the representation of clients in business and tax related matters, including their estate planning and asset protection goals by planning for and creating wills, revocable trust, charitable trusts, private foundations, domestic asset protection trust, limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
As a parent of six children, including a special-needs daughter, Randy understands the challenges facing his clients as they plan for their future and the future of their children. Randy is committed to demystifying estate planning and asset protection for his clients and making the process as comfortable as possible to ensure that they begin and complete the planning. As a former professional baseball player, Randy understands the importance of working as a team with his clients and their financial and other advisers to make sure that the clients have a fully-integrated plan.
Randy has three degrees from the University of Florida, including a B.A., with high honors, in education (1977) and his law degree, a J.D. with honors, in 1980. After practicing law for several years, Randy returned to the University of Florida and obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) Taxation in 1984.
Randy is a member of numerous committees of the Florida Bar and of the American Bar Association and has served on the board of several non-profit organizations. Randy is a frequent speaker on asset protection and estate planning topics.
